2 of my more arty-farty photos:
Both of these are near Delaware Ohio (NW of Columbus)
The first is a furniture store in my hometown. Seems to have looked like that forever. Yes they are still open!
A former stomping ground during my youth, at one time the local vibrant manufacturing part of the city (Elyria, OH).
I just posted this one on my blog today, check it and others out at,
This structure is located just off of the Cherohala Skyway and a lot of the locals aren't even aware of it. It's called "The Roundhouse" and HERE is a link giving a short history. I found a Geocache on the top floor. So if you are on the Skyway, pull off and take a grand tour. It's really in pretty bad shape and I have a feeling that it may not be there much longer.
How about the Chicken Ranch? You know, that little shack outside La Grange (haw-haw-haw-haw).
Or an abandoned air control tower within spitting distance of downtown Austin.
I thought I posted this, but don't see it in the thread.
Looking through a recently broken window in Bodie, Ca, just before it was boarded up.
