What are you listening to today?

When I moved from NC to Ohio in the late 70s there was a local (Columbus, OH) band that was quite popular called McGuffey Lane. I purchased their first couple of albums, back when I still listened to vinyl albums. I made a cassette tape of these albums. For a number of years I drove a good bit between work in southern OH and Columbus for graduate school. The McGuffey Lane tape was in heavy rotation. Eventually I made a mp3 of the cassette tape. I found this video of an early simulcast (local TV and radio station) concert from 1979. I recalled how much I liked their music. I don't think that they made a big national splash, too bad.

Just read about this super group today. Had people in it like Joe Walsh, Keith Emerson, and John Entwistle. Here's Rocky Mountain Way from 1990:

One more today. Mingo Fishtrap. Saw them at the 2019 MOA National Rally and was blown away! Just went back through this thread and was amazed that nobody showcased them before.

After I got home from the 2019 MOA rally in Lebanon, TN I went online and purchased a number of albums (do we still call 'em that?) by Mingo Fishtrap. Good entertainer!

...This becomes even more special as time is short...
