Sugarite State Park -- NE NM

Had a great ride through Sugarite State Park (and then some), in perfect weather conditions Friday, October 10. Sugarite is in northeastern New Mexico and the colors are near their peak right now. I'm guessing this coming weekend they will be as good as they are going to get for this year. Follow the link for a full set of photos.

Thanks for the report and pictures. I've been to Texas, Arizona and Colorado, but never New Mexico. Some day...

man, the riding is good up that way.

here's a shot of the 1150 along NM120, east of NM434, just south of Angel Fire.

thanks for the report!

Forrest Road 76

If you headed back into Angel Fire a few miles you would come to Forest Road 76.

If you really want an adventure you can ride from there to 518 at Sipapu
Where the New Mexico club has their annual rally.

It is pretty rough but I think doable on the GS, although my preferred ride is the wifes Rhino!
