    New moa home page

OK it's the 10th, and I've been away for a week or so. I got my iPad out and typed in "BMWMOA".....
And it took me to the new forum home page. I verified my UN & PW, fussed my way thru a couple subsequent pages of profile and preference stuff, navigated back to home...
And searched and searched for a way into the forum.

I understand they're still working on it. But as I was looking at it on my iPad, no obvious way to enter the forum. Hope they sort it-
    the new "look" is awesome!
Excellent work there, now let's make the way into the forum more obvious, please. At this point, I'm not even sure what I did to get to here from there.

    Cheers!

    Lonin' It

    Wow,
Very professional appearance and (to me) intuitive navigation.

I got here with two clicks - Connect - Rider-to-Rider.

Whew, I'm in! I wish they could just put the Forum button in the bar at the top.

Here is the forum URL. Once there just add it to your bookmarks/favorites. Then there is no need to go to the main site for the link.

    No Problem!

Found the link, no problem Logged right in, no problem. I like the top nav bar because the links are easier to read than the old ones. The site's gonna get a lot more traffic.

I'm sure it's just a matter of time til I get it sorted 100%. OR just get used to using the forum URL.

Anyway, I hope my praise for the new look didn't get lost.
I think the new site looks really great. I'll take the time at some point to navigate my way around and get to know it.

I must say the old site was getting a bit..... clunky? Slow and grumbly. Even on my iPad it'd take some time to get pages to load, or posts to load when submitted. Uploading images thru the attachment manager application was laborious.

Just did some posting, including loading a single attached image... everything was quick and smooth. Next, I'll try to do some posting and hang out some on my phone, and see how that goes!

A BIG thanks to the mods and admins for all their hard work, and continuing efforts on our behalf.

    Cheers.

The only glitch I have noticed is that it won't allow me to stay logged in. Even though I click on "Remember Me", it does not do so. Originally, it forced me to change my password (my old one did not meet the new requirements) but I can still use my old password for the forum. The easiest way is to go straight to the forum and ignore the home page (never did it before).

It's probably old information stored on your computer. When you are logged in to the problem area, specifically log out and try again.
The message in yellow at the top of the screen is a bit of a reminder and there are a number of threads on login issues including this months Best of Forum.

    Gary -

I'm not sure what osbornk is referring to. If he's referring to the homepage, it doesn't remember me either. The forum is fine...I cleared cookies, temp files, etc., so that's working fine. But the homepage...not so good.
