Hawk Mountain nature preserve, near Port Clinton, PA. Not exactly the Alps, but it's still my little piece of Heaven.

I've found very few places that would not quilify as the most beautiful place I've been
since each has its own charms and
when taken each to its own, they pretty much then become
that, at least for the duration of my visit, be it 10 feet or
thousands miles from home.

The last two were taken from the castle overlooking Cochem. It was restored by a German/Jewish businessman from Berlin, confiscated by the Nazis and now is a municipal park.
