It has changed since '86, but it depends on what part of Colorado you're referring to. Your photos feature places that may be little changed. I grew up there and lived in Colorado as an adult seeing the population double from 1970 through the later part of the last century. By far the most growth has occurred on the front range.

Saranac Lake...


One of my favorite towns! I try to always hit it on my way home from trips to New England or Canada. Grab some food at the Lakeside Deli, sit at a picnic table next to the water, and chow down (while also feeding the omnipresent geese).

Lake Powell

A combination of man made and nature made.

It's a lake that was once an ocean that dried up into a desert and was filled with water.
