New York Reservoir Run

Two great photo ops today on a glorious 8 hour round trip from Long Island, up and around 6 or 7 different reservoirs between Yorktown & Bear Mountain, with a final stop at the top, before hitting all the traffic in the planet on the way home. Waited all year for a riding day in the 90's, so I'm not complaining. Both shots below at the New Croton Reservoir, near Croton Lake Road and Route 118, near Yorktown. A thing of beauty...no wonder everyone stares. Damn.....

Both of these are really nice shots, though I much prefer number 2. I'd consider submitting it for consideration for a picture of the week. Beautiful bike, too. I'm a sucker for white pinstripes on a black beemer.
 
Thanks Tom. First thing this morning I submitted both photos for Photo of the Week. We'll see what happens. After the nice cruiser article in May's ON, I'm going through "Cruiser Withdrawal" and need to see more.
