K RT Electric Windshield not functionig.

I have a 91 K 75RT with an LT electric windshield that I installed several years ago. Worked great until recently. It failed to operate a couple of times last fall when I would push the rocker switch. Then a few moments later I would try again and it would work. It would then operate fine for a few weeks before it would not work/then work again. Bike sat all winter in garage. This spring it did not work and continues not to work.

Any suggestions to where I should look first? Thanks for your help.
