I Used to Be Someone
Do you think we can get 50+ Capitols? State & National

I'll start at the upper right hand corner - Augusta, ME

What about world capitols as well, but here in the USA. I'm looking at a ride to Moscow Idaho. There Paris Texas, Athens, London, bound to be a Berlin, a Rome, Madrid and others, somewhere east of Seattle.

It's a ride I've fancied trying to put together...'Around the World in the USA' ending up in Washington DC.

Springfield, Illinois

This is my regular parking spot at work just west of the Illinois State Capitol. I will take a better one after work.

How about Provincial Capital buildings of Canada and Mexico ? MOA ! :ca

Absolutely...I have a parliment building or two in my portfolio. I have to look through my archives but I think I have the Capitol Building in Old San Juan.

I'd say any seat of power but that would lead to more outhouses....;)

And text is welcome!

Thats a nice shot.

I hope I still have my shots of the capitol from the Charleston rally. That should be an easy one for the many standing near me when I was shooting.

As a curious Brit...did one architect manage to secure the contract for all State Capitol buildings?

They all look similar to the Senate building in Rome as well...was it an Italian architect by and chance, quite old, wearing what looked like a blanket?

What's the story?

Awesome thread.
