I'm thinking of adding a Leo Vince SBK Evo II Carbon Slip On (#6338) exhaust to my 2002 R1150RA.

Does anyone have any advice on this add? a good idea? better alternatives?

Why are you planning on doing that? Weight savings? Exhaust note? Performance? It will have different impacts (from some to none) depending on what you are trying to gain by making the change.

all the above! but to prioritize:
1. improved performance / smoothing out the powerband
2. lower exhaust note, but not looking to set off car alarms
3. weight savings (I expect little here since I'm 6 ft 4 in 250 lbs)

I had the same '02 bike. If you pull off the stock can and ride the bike with no can at all, you'll sense little difference. Your can swap will likely disappoint you unless you get the replacement for next to nothing. Still, the look and the sound might be fun, but expect no performance advantage.
