I took a spin the other day into town without any riding gear and i didn't notice the beads, or i should say there was no distraction. I have a pair of stone lake leather bibs that i usually ride in and i definitely can't feel them through the leather as heavy as they are.
the beads are an affordable alternative, cheap enough to try them out. If you don't like them, pass them off to a riding buddy. h
