Battery Question

When I bough the 2005 F650 CS two weeks ago a new battery was installed. Stayed on charger 24 hours before riding. Green Light! Rode it to work. Key turned off, Kill switch and lights were off. Started to go to lunch and battery dead. Nice guy jumped the battery with cables and it started and I drove home. Left it on the charger, it started the next day, and when I cut my baby off and left her for a couple of hours the battery is dead again. What is wrong? What do I do?:banghead

Do you have any accessories that are turned on and draining the battery, i.e. GPS, Heated Clothes, Sat Radio?

Obviously there is something draining the battery. With a VOM meter, you could pull fuses and check which ones are drawing current with the bike off. That at least would narrow it down some.

Did you turn the key all the way over to P - which will allow you to remove the key, but leaves the tail light lit?
