Post your one day ride photo.....

Hooked up with a friend today to do a little backroad riding. Beautiful day, beautiful bikes. I haven't found one thing about this 310 that I don't like.

Wickliffe, KY overlook: Looking at confluence of Mississippi and Ohio Rivers, and Cairo, IL.

We rode through Wickliffe and Cairo last summer.
Wonder how I missed seeing the cross?
I think we'll cross the river at Cairo again next month on the way to the rally, I'll watch for the overlook.

Edit: I see it on Google Maps. It's a little south of where we turned in town.

Actually had a dry day with some sun today in Iowa and got in a short motorcycle, bicycle and mower ride.
On the motorcycle I checked out the new artwork on the Freedom Rock north of Greenfield Iowa.
It's repainted with new scences each year for Memorial Day.

Thanks Lee:wave

You posted pictures prior years, always fantastic artwork and message.

Seeing the USS Iowa on the side, and thirty years since the turret explosion, made me do a search, hard to believe. Remember seeing that on news like it was yesterday. A storied ship for sure...and Big Guns!

Today was the annual tractor ride that starts and ends in Creston Iowa.
They had to wait a hour or so before starting this morning due to lightning and heavy rain.
The ride lasts 8 to 10 hours.
Close to 200 tractors were on the ride.

Tractor Parade

This reminds me of a farm tractor parade we got caught behind on a Great River Road on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River while riding to the Wisconsin Dells rally around 10 years ago. My friend on his bike and me on mine came around a blind curve and off to the side of the road was a farmer(?) standing on the seat of his tractor MOONING us as we rode by.

Not sure if that was intended for us, but it has been difficult to "unsee" that roadside scenery. :hungover :hungover :hungover

Always a good idea to live where there are no lights evident when the nation is photograped from space at night....
