Post your one day ride photo.....

Northeast NM

Not today, but a couple of weeks ago, before the big snow storm.

Took a quick look from home in southern Colorado to northeastern NM. Visited the NRA (Nat'l Rifle Assoc) Center outside Raton, then a loop up on top of Johnson Mesa, just east of Raton.

At 8,000 ft elevation, a January ride is pretty raw!! In 25 miles I only met one vehicle. The mountains in the background are the Sangre de Cristos of the southern Rockies.

Snow Bird

Flew south 20 miles north of Mexico and Nogales to the Arizona town of Tubac.
No one within 100 miles under the age of 70......retirement town.
Great time eating the local peppers and tasting/sipping Anejo tequila.

Question: Check the spelling on the sign??

:bottle

Today's ride around Chase County, Kansas.

The old mill at Cedar Point.

All in all, a really nice day.

Not a scenic shot exactly

But it was today!
Made a 50 mile loop bank run and just got back...almost made it home ( 3 miles) as the much needed rain started right about that tower in the distance. Maybe I was trying to make it rain:whistle

I went to see a lacrosse game at Lynchburg College today. Stopped by Joshua Falls on the way back. There are not any waterfalls...around here sudden drops in the James River are often referred to as falls.

Paused on the north side of a chilly Kenosha Pass when noting the low and setting sun lighting up the south sides of the 14,000ft. twins of Mt. Bierstadt and Mt. Evans.
