I just posted my first video to YouTube and I hope it inspires you on this cold winter night. Please go to: http://www.youtube.com/user/1flyingbrick
This video is from a trip we took to the dirftless region of Southwestern Wisconsin, May 2007. This area of WI was carved by the runoff of the last ice age. The result is deep channels and valleys that drain to the Mississippi River. The WI department of Transportation has blessed us with hundreds of wonderful roads that snake through this area.
One of these wonderful roads is Hwy 108 from Mindoro to West Salem. This section of 108 only lasts a few ticks more than 9 miles and wanders up a ridge to one of the deepest hand hewn cuts in the country. See article in the May 2007 MOA: http://www.bmwmoa.org/rally/rally07/mindoro.htm
The video was shot by a friend of mine using his helmet can. He handed off the uncut QuickTime video to me and I edited it using iMovie HD on my Mac. If you are a fan of Ken Burns documentaries you might get a laugh. Hope you enjoy the results.
