This awesome machine came into my possession on 28 May 2016. It had 129132 on it when I got it. Put 605.7 on it so far no issues.

So much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance:dance:dance

Barn find?

My Barn that is! I have had the R 90/6 for about 10 years and the 75/5 for about 6 years, both were put to the side about 5 years ago due to other projects and obsessions. I finally self -embarrassed myself into cleaning them up, fixing some oil leaks, electrical tidbits and riding them for a while. Both have the paint they were born with with the exception of the rear frame & swing arm on the R 90. I'm in the process of cleaning up the original seat for the R 90 and will put that on soon, it is a very comfortable seat. That Police seat is going on a R 60/6 that I saved a couple years ago along with a few other cop like items including some green paint and an "S" fairing. The R 60 was a real barn find.

The R 75/5 was found chained up to several Asian brands at a used car lot and the R 90 was sold to me way to cheap by my local dealer about 10 years ago.

There have been others and there will be others . . .

Still going over it and finding new things to repair/correct to bring it up to roadworthy status.

My gosh there are sure some beautiful airheads shown here. I can only hope to have one so clean and prepped someday.

Did that R 60/5 get a "Jug Job"?

They just don't seem to have the curves of a set of natural jugs observed on other R 60/5's. Oh and the supplemental support devices (carbs) just look a little out of place to me but compliment the larger jugs very nicely.

I'm not opposed to larger jugs even if they are not the natural type usually found protruding for all to see and enjoy. I personally prefer a smaller more subtle set that is sporty, sexy and won't get the rider in any trouble with the law.

Just an observation and compliment to a nicely done "jug enhancement" job on an already well equipped and nicely toned R 60/5.

I really think it's a kind of optical illusion. The angle and close up of the picture gives the cylinder and head an oversize look. Nice pic.
