This was my first BMW. It was one of those "finds" you run across once in a lifetime. When I first acquired it, the clutch was stuck and carbs gummed up, rear shock needed replacing. Other than a few minor things, the bike was perfect. No dings, etc. I put 30,000 miles on it and decided I wanted a newer beemer, as I was really starting to like this sport . It had 4400 miles on it when I bought it. It is a 1971 R60/5. Yes, it's now in my living room .
