resizing and posting a pic with your ad

I had difficulty in infraview trying to resize photos I took with my digital camera to attach to my ad. However, I e-mailed my digital photo's to myself which resized them and then was easily able to add it to my ad. Maybe this will help someone.

Way to Go, Fig!

Nice bike! NOW what you need to do is jump on that puppy and ride it to Oshkosh to visit me. Oh, wait - you might want to wait until late Spring.

It is getting a bit late in the riding season for the "non Iron Butt types" (which includes me, BTW.)

Welcome to the Forum!:dance

I don't think the address you're using links to anything, but your image tags are working correctly.

Mr. Brown,

guinness-250-stout.jpg

You might be able to do one image per post like this.
I used the attachment (the paper clip) and browsed my computer for an image.
This does not require a host.

Hit the "quote" button on this post to see the code, the stuff is generated for you.
Sorry if I made a mess.

Go to the first page of this thread, very helpful.

I would love a guiness. Thanks! I have not had one for 6 months. The whole no alcohol in a war zone really puts a damper on the beer consumption.

No worries, I have plenty of time to figure this out. I am sure to have a light bulb moment!

Looks like you did!
And Bob's your uncle.
Sorry for all the confusion.
I should have pointed you to the tutorial first, what was I thinking?

You're in Germany and no beer?! Sheesh.
Oh wait, that was on another deployment.
Yeah, beer does not taste very good at 124F.

No worries! Thanks for the help!

The beer will come soon. My bride has promised me to have the beer fridge stocked with Chimay. It made by monks on the Belgium/French border. Absolutely wonderful stuff! Although it packs a punch at 28 proof. I do not expect to make it through many of them.
