Two little Holes

..that's what Ricky made at the bottom of the Givi screen on my brother in law's GS (which he keeps in my garage). Ricky drilled these holes to deal with buffeting he experienced while testing some final drive mods he had made to the bike. After the dremel treatment, the bike just sat there unridden for a while, because my brother in law was traveling on Coast Guard duty (damn the terrroists).

Flip forward a few weeks. The hydraulic ABS pump on my own GS (which has a stock screen) failed (naturally at the 40,000 mile mark), giving me a chance to ride my brother in law's bike for two weeks. First time on the freeway: "WTF... Where's all the noise? Why is my helmet not being tossed around like a Hank Aaron bobble head doll on the dash of Chevy low rider? Surely, it can't be from those two little holes!" I had ridden this bike before, with an "undrilled Givi," and did not notice a huge difference between the undrilled Givi and my stock screen. I'm back on my own bike now, and I literally thought I forgot my earplugs first time out. I **** you not, the difference is unfrigginbelievable. The only time you'll have more fun with two little holes is.....(sorry that's for JoMomma).

THIS IS THE WHOLE TREAT

BUT DON'T WORRY IS WAY MORE TO COME....some day:confused:

SOME pictures of the finish project

I'm totally aware, about the main use of the NACA ducts as laminar flow on longitudinal surface along the sided of the vehicles.
but they do serve a porpuse on a frontal aplication too(please I'm not a aeronautical engennier,,,so all my work is base on asumtions and pracmatic information getter by experimentation..)
they are NOISELESS,,atomize the water, and for sure help with turbulence.

you can varelly see them
