R1200RT cold running problem

My 07 R1200RT with 11500 kms has a minor problem when I start the engine for the first time in the morning (engine is cold). It starts and idles fine. But if I try to open the throttle, it will die unless I give it very small amounts of throttle. If I shut it down and restart it, everything is fine and it responds normally to throttle openings. Is this normal behavior?

I have an 06 R1200RT with 29000 miles on it. Mine has never done that. Have your dealer check it out, may just be something minor.:dunno
