R1200GS-ADV Passenger footpeg lowering

Has anyone had any luck with passenger footpeg lowering kits? I have called Touratech about the one they have, but they said it will not work with the ADV model. Apparently the bikes stock mounting for the passengers footpegs is different on the ADV versus the GS.
