Salty Fog Rally + Highland Fling

Ron somehow finds wood for the evening. A real flame-meister, he built a wonderful glow which we cherished for all of about 30 minutes. At that point the gods thrust rain, thunder and lightening upon us. The only other sound was, from a neighboring tent, Paul's periodic utterances of "ooooo" "ahhhh" as the light show played on.

A few more pictures of the Salty Fog gathering. In spite of Fog and assorted weather patterns thrust upon us, a great time was had by all. Although working with some old technology here (which Paul is helping to nudge us from), the following are a few of our contributions. Next year..... -Bob and Mary

Salty Fog: A Few More Pics

When the fog finally cleared in Larry's River, this view from the livingroom was a welcome sight.

As winding dirt road to Meat Cove snaked along the cliff, we finally come in view of our campground.

Mary. with the eastside of the Cabot Trail as a backdrop. Just after this photo we encountered a young moose around the next corner. It dashed into the woods before any of us could get a camera ready.

A bit of posing outside the Glenora Distillery. Steve, Paul, Ron and Mary bask in with the glow of a post tour wee dram.

That likely ends the collective account of this year's Salty Fog (rolling) Rally. Now for next year's plans. :dance ( Thanks Paul for the lesson in easy uploading of photos.... hope it works) -Bob
