As farkled (BST CF wheels, Ti exhaust, and Shorai LI battery) now under 400 lbs, and 122 HP, I just love this. Its original dry weight was 419 lbs.

Have to tell you when I first saw the RT in that matte finish I did not like it but it has really grown on me and now I think it is a very nice look! Good luck the R1200RT is a wonderful bike! :thumb

if that machine was a woman....

it would be in a centerfold... beautiful!

re: "Think it is 490 lbs without the bags... How about 450 lbs and 193 HP?.... S1000RR "

whatever, it came with more than enough WOOPASS for this 65 year old jarhead.

Here's my new to me R1200GSA ... put 3,500 miles on the bike in first month. I LOVE this bike, it's a keeper for sure!

Just about time to "wake 'er up" for another season! :clap

I've never seen that compartment that replaces the Passenger seat. Where is it from?
