Garmin Macintosh POI and Webdater Software Available

Good find, though I am reluctant to beta test software.
Have you tried it yet?
Found any problems?
I have the BMW NAV II w/2GB card.

I have the BMW NAV II w/2GB card.

The only thing it was able to do for me was to identify my unit and tell me that my software was up to date.. I guess we'll find out more later

Any news on the programs? Still waiting for a Mac version of software package from Garmin. Would be nice to not have to rely on having a pc, spend more time updating virus and Windows XP Pro updates.:banghead

Soon after the Mac updaters were made available I called customer service which I've done before and I got the impression and have gotten the impression that mapsource for mac is an ongoing chuckle even within Garmin customer service...

I tried both updaters and lo and behold they worked .. :D :clap

Doing some software project management for work, I will say that porting from Windows to other environment is still a chore to put it nicely. It is interesting to see that they have done it.
