bubbles in GPS screen??

Well, this looks like the right forum to post this ... what i originally thought were some scratches in my GPS NAV II screen are not ... but actually appear to be bubbles within the display screen. the number of these critters has grown over the past week, and i had to even take out my magnifying glass to confirm what i was seeing. anyone else expereince this before? i also noticed the cradle holder to the unit has delevoped a crack ... the unit is 6 months old.

On the Garmin 26xx units (the BMW Navigator is a 26 series specific for BMW) this is a known issue. I suggest you contact your dealer and if they are unfamiliar with this contact Garmin directly. My understanding is that they will replace the screen.
