Anyone have this? I'm thinking about picking up the suit this week sometime. I just moved to San Diego and thought it might be cooler than my Timbuktu jacket. If you have bought this suit, did they give you a deal on the jacket and pants together or was it full MSRP for both?
Thanks,
Chris

I bought a Rallye II on closeout for about 40% off. I love it, haven't used it much yet (twice) as it's been so hot. I imagine I'll love it when I do. I wear my Rallye I constantly in the summer. Best vented jacket I've ever owned.

AFAIK, the only time you get deals on BMW apparel is when you work a deal along with a new bike, or when it's on closeout. I've never heard of a dealer offering anything other than 10% off or so. (Then again, 10% is substantial on an $1100 suit)

Well, I bit the bullet and bought the blue/gray RP2 today! I had to go a size up from my normal suit size, I guess they run a size small. The back armor feels VERY substantial! I haven't ridden in it yet I dropped my bike off for service and had my wife drive me home. They had to order my pants anyway so.... And yes I did pay full MSRP!

I have the Rallye2 and love it. Used it in the winter, the desert in summer and commute riding and it really is an RV of jackets/suits...does it all and pretty much really well too except for the cold...you do need layers under that jacket for heat as the GoreTex is waterproof and windproof but not warm...lol.

Just came back from out west this weekend and even in the 106F temps on the plains with the vents open it really breathes.
