Beemers in the Bluegrass

LORAZEPAM

leave my monkey alone
I attended the Beemers in the Bluegrass rally this year. It was a really great rally with some awesome riding. The area of Kentucky where it was held has a mixture of extremely challenging roads, and gorgeous scenery including old plantations, and Thorobread farms. The limited photos I have here don't begin to show the beauty of the area or the Fun that was to be had at this great event.

This one is pretty sweet....

The first one is a tobacco barn. That is next year's cigars and cigarettes drying in the barn with special openings in the side for ventialtion, and the second is the drive to a Horse plantation in central Kentucky.

Do you know how to put the pictures in a post?

Send me a PM if you want, but basically,

- right click on the picture in smugmug and select properties.
- on the box that pops up, highlight the address copy it by right clicking.
- when you compose your message, click the IMG button and paste the address in.

Bazingo! Instant pictures. We've got it set on this forum so you can put about ten pictures or so in a post.

I recognized that one. Growing up in Connecticut the north/central part of the state was filled with them for cigar wrapper leaves grown there. Most of them are gone now, replaced by industrial parks and corporate headquarters.

I hope to make it to the Beemers in the Bluegrass one of these years. Until then I'm thankful for nice pics from a fellow Roadster rider.

Bring your shower shoes, this is an inexpensive rally with no flush toilets at the campsite. The shower looks like a 20 year mildew experiment. I will still go again.
