Triumph with sidecar

This is a long shot, but does anyone have a photo of that green Triumph Thunderbird sidecar unit?

Was that the most beautiful vehicle ever, or what?

I do have pics of it, but have to figure out how to get them off the brand-new camera. Give me a day,,,,

Enjoy...

Here's a few to come:

This is around 7:45 on Thursday morning about 15 minutes before it officially opened. Still plenty of parking space, but not for long. Riders were coming in droves. And yes the weather was great up there.

The front of the line waiting for the rally to open at 8 am. I took this shot by raising my arm and camera over my head and just shot looking back.

I'm not a vintage expert, but this one caught my eye just parked there.

Here's a cell phone shot of the awards ceremony scene. Thanks to the organizers for making this one short and sweet. All things considered, it was one of the best-run rallies I've attended since I started going to MOA rallies at Laguna Seca in '86.

We stayed at my buddy Doug's house when we got to Boston.

He's got some neat stuff hanging around. Let's see who knows what this is. It was in the vintage display.

Anywho, I had a great ride and lunch with the MOA Foundation's Camp GEARS folks. What an awesome group of folks.

Looking forward to seeing more of you guys. :thumb

Cool paint job.

Yep, that's my bike. Thanks for the compliment. I didn't spend much time by my tent, but I did see a lot of people stop to look at the bike.

The answers to the two most-asked questions are: it's a Krauser fairing, and it was painted by Shawn at Custom Paint Specialists in Des Moines, IA.
