I fixed the problem of the front brakes on my 1984 R100RT locking on by new pads and braided steel lines.In the course of the changes,the mechanic used DOT3 instead of DOT4(clearly marked thus on the front and rear master cylinders!) I drew it to his attention and have made some enquiries,the upshot of which is that this is not a big problem as the only difference is the boiling loint.
Any opinions out there as to whether I should be concerned and immediatley flush the DOT 3?
