Last month I did a two-week dualsport trip to the Copper Canyon. No BMWs in our group, although we did encounter some. Most of our route was better suited to lighter bikes.

I've not been there to the Mexican Canyon! All the GS's I've had and this one trip escapes me. I've heard its quite good. I've heard the GS statement before about lighter bikes suited for this trail! I certainly agree the bigger bikes are more work, but the numbers are growing, regarding riders that can handle the big beasts by BMW in tough spots. This BMW/GS phenom has grown into its own industry, it seems. I'll be back on GS again, as I miss it.
