Mounting points

A couple of times recently I've had comments about the mounting points for straps, stretch cords or the small cargo nets on my F800GS. There seemed to be some interest so I thought I'd pass along what I've been using for years. The mounting points are the kind of wire ties that can be screwed or nailed down. You can wrap one around almost anything and use the mounting hole for your tie-down point. I like the ones of good quality such as the ones from Thomas and Betts and frequently pick them up from a industrial supply such as W.W. Grainger. Simple and effective and you can add one or take one off with little effort. Gary
