Switchback Creek Shady Valley TN

Out There Somewhere
Want to plug a buddy's campground down in Tennessee- just off hiway 421 AKA The Snake.
Switchback Creek is a minimalist campground with two small cottages, a bathhouse with running water and showers. They have a BBQ (gas) grill for guest use and can accommodate groups, arrange a larger BBQ/cookout for your group. etc.

Owner/Host's name is "Windy" Eads
Check him out if you're riding down there this summer.

The Snake is a very nice set of mountain twsities almost empty most of the time. Rode it agin today and saw maybe 5 or 6 cages in the whole length- no other bies except at the country store where a couple guys were taking a break.

Its Rt 421 on the map, about 30+ miles NE of Johnson City TN (site of MOA Rally a few years bak) and a bit less NW of Boone, NC. Plenty of other fun roads in that parts othe world, too (here for UnRally 2013 this time)

Had I seen this post before today's ride, we would have checked out that campground- thanks for the info

I agree about it being a nice, clean place! Stayed there when I visited the area once.
