New GS911 Beta is out - Adds fuel strip calibration

I was checking something with my GS911 last night and I see in the new GS911 beta just released 7/8 that you now get fuel strip calibration for those that fall out of the two year warranty on a replacement fuel strip and are so inclined to replace this $150 part yourself, plus I see additions for window motor calibration and additional ESA calibration.

What about this issue though?

I saw that JT as I was looking at buying the software. They have also added a windscreen motor calibrator which I would like to use as I am not happy with the down position of my windscreen.

Then I saw this under Known Issues which I cannot quite figure out. I have a 2012 RT so I think it would affect me.

PC version (current Release and BETA)

On R1200 Twincam models, after doing a Idle Actuator Calibration, once the engine is started, the idle is very rough. The solution is to do a "Reset All Adaptations Values". Once you have experienced this, please do an AutoScan and send us the AutoScan. Then take your motorcycle to BMW and ask them to update the Engine Control Unit's software... Once updated, do another AutoScan and send it to us please.

I sent them some questions about it but I was wondering if anyone had actually experienced this on their camhead and what the outcome was. Sounds like a PITA with costs involved and an uncertain outcome.

As with your computer at home diag equipment ends up with a variety of issues as well. If at all possible I try to stay one version behind. That helps to eliminate some issues right off the bat. Having the latest and the "greatest" is not necessarily advisable for either the customer or the store.
