bullet
aka Johnny Hammerlane
Yesterday I went for the first ride of the 2014 season. It was a high of 6C and a low of 1C.
Didn't matter, the Gerbings jacket and pants plus the heated seat and grips took the chill off.
The roads were dry and a little sand covered in the center but I kept the bike in the track and
rode 273km from home to Bobcaygeon then along Pigeon Lake Road to Emily Park, County Road 14
to CR17, 16 and 37 to Buckhorn, 36 and 28 to Apsley, 28 north to 118 east, 503 and 507 to 36 and
back home. Betty, the bike, was reluctant to start but, once running, rode flawlessly the entire way.
It's a wonderful feeling to have her back on the road for another season of fun and adventure.
So I read the post from last year's 2013 Mileage Contest and propose the "2014 Mileage Tracker".
My 2010 R1200 RT started the season with 90,126 klix on the clock and the count is on! Yippee!!
