Any good roads and things to see in GA? I am trying to decide if I want to go back East or out West again. I have been out west a lot and love it but would like to see some new places. Have been to NC and TN. Have nine days starting this Saturday. NO wife or kid going:dance

Any suggestions?

Yes. Big time. From Dahlonaga north through Western NC and TN it's pretty awesome. These sites will get you in the neighborhood:

Go to osbornk here & he'll put you on some great roads in southern VA,edge of NC & TN!

Come on down! I'll take you on some really neat off the beaten path roads. We had a wonderful day of riding through the mountains yesterday.

We were out riding yesterday and met a nice gentleman from Ontario. He had no planned route and was having a ball riding through our mountains. He was at the Snake at Shady Valley and we gave him some tips on places to ride and motels to use. We also ran across a group from Michigan that were having a ball riding our mountain roads. However, they were riding high end Porsche and Audi cars. One of the car drivers from Michigan was from Germany. He said it reminded him of where he grew up in the foothills of the Alps.

Thanks for the suggestions. Seriously looking forward to this trip. No plans, no destination, just the adventure. :usa

In Helen GA today. What beautiful country. Great riding today despite the rain, leaves and acorns all over the road and the tree limb that fell out of the sky just grazing my shoulder.

I am sorry that I didn't see your post until now. Hope you're having a great time... weather will be better today.

You can't find a bad road in this area... be sure to take some of the little/local ones as they hold many wonderful miles.
