I am in Abington VA on the road back home to Soldotna, Alaska. My 1995 GSPD is not charging the batt. I have an endurolast charging system. I screwed up and left my Anonymous book back in AK darn it! Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the area who I can hopefully make it to? You can also call or text me at 907-398-6755. THANKS! John

I talked to John. He's in Abingdon!! I'm going to give him a few numbers, tell him about Snowbum, and Anton Largiader.

worst case you can buy a car battery and use it until it almost goes dead then charge from an outlet.

I told him he could consider running dead loss on a spare battery to get quite a bit down the road. But given the weather up the east coast the next few days, I suspect he'll stay put and work it out.

One thing he told me was that the alternator light was not on when the key was on but engine not started...I mentioned that needs to be addressed otherwise he's getting no charging.
